2015 Trip to Kyoto and Osaka, Japan

Summer 2015

What I tried in Osaka and Kyoto:
1. My friends recommended me to try "kushikatsu". Kushikatsu are fried meat and vegetables breaded with panko (crunchy breadcrumbs). There are rules how to try them: and the rules are written on the table. It is served with cabbage. Rules are to dip the kushikatsu into soy sauce before eating, because the sauce is a shared with other customers. I loved the way it is eaten since I thought it is served with beautiful consideration 🍤

2. The next thing I paid attention how these manholes were designed, both colorful and including city sightseeings.

3. If you are in Osaka in summer, try these green tea ice cream since they are popular during summertime!

4. I went to a bike renting store in Kyoto, took a bicycle for a rent, left there my ID card, paid for a rent. Then started my biking journey to Fushimi-Inari a famous temple from the movie "Memoirs of a  Geisha"!
