Turning hat into a basket

What can happen to a hat when it is overused? 

It can be turned into a basket! 

When one of my hats have lost its color and shape... my mother came with this wonderful idea turning it into something else! 

Now it has become a piece of decor. For different occasions it can be used as a basket for fruits, chocolates, candies and so on.

I think it is a brilliant idea, isn't it?
